TikTok Integration

Use this guide to connect TikTok to Zync and publish from Content Kit.

Before You Start

• Estimated time: 2-3 minutes for setup.
• You need to have Solo plan active (or trial)
• Keep your TikTok login available for permission approval.

Connect TikTok (One-Time Setup)

1. In Zync, go to Workspace > Integrations.
2. In TikTok Configuration, select Connect TikTok.
3. Sign in to TikTok and approve requested permissions.
4. After redirecting back to Zync, confirm your TikTok account appears in the TikTok section.
5. If profile details are missing, select Reconnect to refresh account info.

Success check: Your TikTok account is visible in TikTok Configuration.

Publish From Content Kit (Repeatable)

1. Open the episode's Content Kit.
2. In the TikTok card, select Publish.
3. Review Video URL, Title, and Caption; edit as needed.
4. For promotional content, enable Commercial content disclosure and select Your brand, Branded content, or both.
5. Choose Privacy and enable interactions (Allow Comment, Allow Duet, Allow Stitch) as needed.
6. Select Publish to TikTok.

Step 1: Open the episode Content Kit and navigate to TikTok card. Click on it.

Step 2: Select Publish in the TikTok modal that opens.

Steps 3-5: Review fields, disclosure, and privacy settings before publishing.

Success check: Publish completes without errors and the post appears on TikTok.

If Publishing Fails

• Select Reconnect in TikTok Configuration and try publishing again.
• Confirm your TikTok account is still connected in Workspace > Integrations.
• Re-open the episode Content Kit and retry Publish.

Disconnect or Switch

1. Go to Workspace > Integrations.
2. In TikTok Configuration, select Disconnect to remove the current account.
3. Select Connect TikTok to link a different account.
