Zync Recording Studio makes video creation simple and stress-free. When you begin, just click the “Join Studio” button on your Join Page. The experience is as familiar as entering a Zoom call. Once inside, adjust your camera, microphone, and lighting to set the perfect scene.
Your script is conveniently divided into short, manageable segments, each pre-set to around 10 seconds for easy recall. This setup allows you to focus on one part at a time, making it feel natural to speak directly to the camera. You can even edit the script on the spot, customize each segment, or add line breaks to suit your preferred flow.
When ready, click “Next” to access the Zync Prompter, which displays each segment near the camera, helping you maintain eye contact effortlessly. Start recording each segment with a simple click, speak naturally, and hit “Stop” when done. The prompter will automatically move to the next segment. For quick control, use the space bar to start, stop, and advance recording seamlessly.
If a segment doesn’t turn out as you’d like, no worries—just go back and re-record as needed, and Zync will use your final takes. When finished, Zync automatically assembles your video with captions and effects, ready to publish in minutes. With Zync’s intuitive Segmented Prompter, recording feels easy, and creating a polished video becomes a pleasure.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my Recording Studio in the previous style still?
All sessions that were created ahead of this release will still be in the older style. Only newer Videos will use this recording style. You can always delete the sessions that you created earlier and create new sessions.
What if I want to not record in segments and just have it all available to me to record in one shot?
You can certainly do that. That's just the same as having 1 really long segment. You can simply edit the Video Script to not have segments and have all of it be part of just one segment. When you're recording there will be just one segment and you can record it.
What if I don't want a script and I want to free form record my answers?
You can certainly do that too. Simply delete the whole script and free form the answer. The script is just guidance. You can simply even create 4-5 segments with whatever text you want and ignore the text and say whatever you want when you're recording.
What if I make a mistake ? Can I do retakes ?
Yes, you can do as many retakes as you want and you don't have to record the whole video. You can simply navigate to the segment you want to fix and re-record it. Your last take is considered final.

When you want to create a video, zync geneerates a compelling video script and it's built-in to your Recording Studio.
When you start your session, you’ll see a "Join Studio" button on your Join Page. Entering the studio feels as seamless as joining a Zoom call. Set up your camera, microphone, and adjust your lighting to get everything just right.
Inside the studio, you can review the script for your topic, which is neatly divided into segments. Each segment is its own recording, allowing you to speak to the camera with ease.
To make changes, simply hit the edit button. You can adjust the script and tweak the messaging.
You can add line breaks to create shorter or longer segments.
Each segment is pre-set to around 10 seconds, making it easy to remember and deliver naturally—though you’re free to adjust as needed.
Once your script is ready, click "Next" to access the Zync Prompter.
The teleprompter sits just near the camera and your short segment script visible bright and bold near it.
Start recording each segment by pressing the record button, and speak naturally to the camera.
Once done, you hit "Stop" and the Prompter automatically moves to the next segment.
For quick control, use the space bar to start and stop recording, automatically advancing you to the next segment. As you record, you’ll see previous segments uploading at the bottom. If you want to redo a segment, simply go back and re-record as many times as needed; Zync will keep the final take for each.
Also remember, The script provided is just a guide—you can use your own words or even skip segments if desired. Zync will take all completed segments and assemble your video with captions and effects based on what you spoke.
That’s it! Once you’re finished, just exit the studio and Zync will have your ready-to-publish video in minutes.
